Kgosi was awarded a Bachelor of Business Science (Honours) by the University of Cape Town in 2001.

He is a seasoned Private Equity Executive. He spent 6 years as a Senior Private Equity Associate at Horizon Equity; 3 years as a Private Equity Executive with Safika Investments – a leading BEE investment firm in South Africa, where he participated in several investments and served as a non-executive director on portfolio company boards; and has also spent 3 years as Associate Principal for private equity at Senatla Capital.

Kgosi has over 16 years experience in the private equity space. He has a further 4 years experience as a strategy consultant with ABSA Bank and Accenture. He started his career as a management trainee with the Laser Group.

Kgosi is Head of Unlisted Investments since October 2018 and co-founded LEGACY AFRICA Capital Partners.
