Nkhensani attended the University of the Western Cape for her undergraduate degree and the University of South Africa for her Honours degree in accounting.

She Completed her articles in 2018 and went on to work as an Audit supervisor at Rakoma and Associates Inc until 2019. During her time as an auditor, Nkhensani gained a range of experience through various industries including, manufacturing, real estate, Construction and Financial services to name a few.

In 2020, Nkhensani joined Macquarie Group in the USA as a Financial Accountant in the Financial Management division where she looked after the accounting and reporting for several funds, fund managers and general Partners in the Unlisted, alternative investments sector.

In 2023 Nkhensani joined Legacy Africa Capital Partners as Finance and Operations Manager.
